Seriously? Is it only Tuesday? It feels like it was later along in the week than that! Oh well, I still only have 7 days of class left until finals. Like, FINAL finals! Meep! That was a freakin' long 16 months, let me tell ya! I'll be ecstatic to be finished (for the most part)!
That being said, here is today's happiness summary:
1. Got to school on time, went to all but one class, had breakfast potatoes and sausage with loads of ketchup for brekkie-food, and my MIS group presented today...got an A! Giggity!
2. Went and saw the new GI Joe movie in 3D with a friend I haven't seen in over a year. Awesome movie, and great hangout time, even there wasn't a lot of talking. I still had fun :D Also..peanut butter M&M's are the shizz. Just sayin'...
3. My Jets beat Buffalo 4-1...w00t w00t! Inching ever closer to that elusive playoff spot! GO JETS GO! (Also...Tito went to the game...very jealous, not gonna lie, BUT...she got a REALLY good picture of my Pav on the ice...nom nom. All is forgiven! Hurray for talented NHL eye candy! ^_^)
4. Cleaned my keyboard tonight. That's what I get for having a huge glass of Coke that close in proximity. Spilled it...all over. Ugh. Bright side? All clean, and works better than before! Woohoo! However, I would prefer to never experience that again LOL
5. Almost done my last project/presentation, which is due at 10pm on April 10! Gonna run it by my instructor, but I'm sure she'll be fine with it! :D I think it looks pretty bitchin'!
6. Almost forgot! I was added as a friend by none other than Acheron Apostolos-Parthenopaeus (aka Ash)...the head of the Dark Hunters! Don't laugh, it's so awesome! He's SO nice! :D (RP or not, it's still awesome, so hush :P LOL)
Well then...that's my happiness report for the day. Time for sleep...class at 9am!
Keep that chin up, and turn that frown upside down! :)

Day 4 - Mondays Can't Be THAT Bad...
Another Monday come and gone...4 hours at school. Other than that, a pretty unproductive day.
That being said...here's today's happy report :)
First: Scored 70% on my last quiz in my MIS class. Booya. This is fabulous considering my average is 60 LOL
Second: Went for a nap upon getting home...which turned into a 5hr sleep session. No complaints here. A rested body is a happy body! :D Weird-ass dream though... O_o
Third: Woke up to find my mom made RAISIN COOKIES!! Giggity! :D And on that same note: om nom nom nom...
And finally...got involved in a pointless thread war on my friend's page. We were feeding the troll...but it was so FUNNY!! XD I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard LOL
That's my day today...now, off to shower and then sleep!
Sweet dreams and happy smiles, y'all! :D

Day 3 - And On the Sabbath, She Rested
Okay, so the title is a LITTLE bit of a lie...I did a bit of resting, but not a whole lot. I just figured it was an appropriate title, today being Sunday and all!
Hokay so, this is a summary of the good things that happened today:
1. Slept in crazy late AGAIN. I'm kinda getting used to this. Probably not a good thing in the long run, but I'm catching up on much-needed sleep...which is a definite positive!
2. Made banana bread! However...I learned a valuable lesson: a teaspoon and a tablespoon make a significant difference when adding baking soda. Kinda overdid it a little, and as a result...loaf was ruined. Oh well. Next time I'll get it right :)
3. There's 2 parts to this one:

3. There's 2 parts to this one:
- Went to Taylor's for our now-weekly bout of Game of Thrones! EEEEEE!!
- Upon arrival at Taylor's, was shocked to see my very good friend JOSH M. sitting on her couch! ERMAHGERD!! Best. Hug. EVAR!! :D Haven't seen him since November for the Twilight Movie Marathon!! :D (Shut up, it was fun :P no judging me, dammit! And I'd like to add the marathon was partly his idea...so nyah :P LOL)
4. PowerPoint presentation for my MIS (Management Information Systems) class is FINITO! And just in time too! Giggity! :D
Now, I'm home, about to shower, and then I'm hitting the hay for the night.
That's all for now kids! Keep fit and have fun! ;D And don't forget that all-important smile! :)
Also...9 days of class left...HOLY. CRAP. ^_^
Day 2 - Let the Good Times Rock
Howdy blogger-land!
So...Saturday has come and gone, and I have a few things to post about, but I'll keep it brief...cuz I'm tired and I wanna watch a movie before bed!
First...woke up super late. Like 2pm kind of late. Man, that felt SO good!
Next...had a nice hot shower. Love those! So very relaxing! :)
After that...Mom came home with groceries (yay food LOL), and then did my small load of laundry for me. She also bought me a bottle of raspberry Brisk iced tea AND a package of Fuzzy Peaches. BOOYA! :D
Following that...compiled information from group members at school and created a PowerPoint presentation in a matter of about 2-3 hours (which is due Monday morning, and will be presented sometime next week), and got some awesome positive feedback from said group members. Almost completely done! :D Woohoo!
Once that was done...I got changed, and joined a friend at After Dark (local goth night) and helped her work the door. Forgot how sexy some of those men are...wow! :D Also got paid $25 for helping. I can live with that :) I was just happy to get out of the apartment for a bit! This was shortly followed by sharing chicken fingers, fries, and potato skins with my friend. NOM! (Side note: I was asked out of the blue to work the door for their social next month...sweet! Volunteer position but w/e...good music and positive, fun atmosphere. I am SO down for that! ^_^)
Now I'm home...about to have a snack...and gonna watch "Repo! The Genetic Opera" before I hit the hay!
All in all...a pretty positive productive day, methinks :)
Tomorrow: GAME OF THRONES!!! EEEEEEEEEEEE!!! :D
I'm out!
Don't forget to smile! :)
PS - My Jets won 4-1 over Philly...DEFINITELY made it a good day :D

Day 1 - Let's Get this Off to A Good Start
Well...my first real blog. Huzzah!
Most of my life has been pretty average as far as experiences have gone...okay, maybe I've experienced more negativity than positivity growing up, and they say what you experience defines who you are. While this may true in part, the way I see it is you have 2 options:
1. Let your past experiences define you for life
or
2. Make changes to your life so your present and future experiences will be worthwhile.
I'm choosing option 2. For so many years, I've grown up in negative environments, constantly being ridiculed and picked on for various reasons...and not just by my peers. By family as well. Yeah, it's made me a little jaded and at times a little bitter. Not gonna deny that. However, I've had some experiences in the last few years that are starting to make me look at things differently. More positively. And more importantly...those experiences are pushing me to make positive changes to my life. I refuse to keep looking back, and wonder, "what if?" While some of those memories are fantastic to think about, some of them just make you feel worse in the long run. "Oh man, I should have done this instead, then I'd have this instead of that."
I used to do that. Quite a bit, actually. Still do, to some degree. However, I'm looking at the positive what-ifs and the positive outcomes that are in my near future. They say the universe is powered by thought. Why keep pushing it in a negative direction? I like to think that everything happens for a reason: the paths I've chosen that have led me to where I am today were supposed to happen...to help me learn, and grow as a person. I never would have made the friends I have today had I not made a couple of bad decisions. On the flip side, I wouldn't have made the friends I have today if I didn't make just as many good decisions.
From this point forward, I'm going to post here about at LEAST one thing that has made me smile every single day for...let's say a month. Something attainable. And then I'll go from there. Your challenge is to do the same :)
Whether you make a blog, or just write a note at home, or go back to a text someone sent you that made you smile...record it. And when you're having a bad day...go back and look at it. I guarantee it will make you feel that much better.
And on that note, here's my positivity for the day:
LUNCH!! I went to Gaberniks today, and a good thing I did! They had my favorite soup...beer and cheese! Mmmmmmm. Haven't had that in a long time. Got that...a grilled reuben sandwich...and a large matcha green tea latte. Best. Lunch. EVAR.
Oh and I have no job now. You're probably wondering what's positive about that? Simple. I now have room to apply for and start a new better job better-suited to my education and experiences :)
That's all for today. Remember to smile! :)
